High-speed lamination of high-barrier structures.
Available to all kinds of materials and demanding applications.
Compliance with rigorous safety standards of BRC and FDA regulations.
High-performance laminating adhesives cover the most demanding packaging applications with solvent and solvent-free products.
Solvent-based adhesive laminating is widely used in the industry. This type of laminating requires substrates to be laminated with a liquid adhesive. Aluminium foil bonding can only use this laminating. It is used in various types of food packaging and industrial applications.
Dry bond laminating, also called solvent-free laminating, contains zero solvent components. This type of laminating is green, harmful-free and cost-effective. It is applicable to a broad array of food packaging, including high-temperature retort pouches, snack food, and high-barrier films.
Customized lamination structures are designed for various applications of flexible packaging, and are made from a laminate of flexible plastic, films and foils.
A single material may not have all the properties that a product needs. Therefore, a composite of 2 or more layers of different materials may provide a variety of performance characteristics. The following indicates the purpose of each layer:
- Heat-sealable surface
- Provides flexibility and strength
- Protects the barrier layer
- Prevents moisture, light, and oxygen transmission
- Chemical resistance
- Extends shelf life
- Excellent printable surface
- Provides strength to the whole pouch
- Tear resistance
